Archana Patkar - Chair

Archana is the Manager of the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council's (WSSCC) Networking and Knowledge Management programme. Archana has extensive experience working within health, education, water and sanitation, gender and women’s rights in rural and urban contexts. She is an active member of several knowledge and capacity building initiatives including – the International Community of Practice on Evaluating Impact, the Gender and Water Alliance, Association of Women in Development and sector focused knowledge initiatives such as WESNet.

 

 

Doreen Kabasindi Wandera - Treasurer

Doreen is the Executive Director at UWASNET (Uganda Water & Sanitation NGO Network).  Doreen has a wealth of experience of over 15 years accumulated in service from various capacities in diverse areas such as public health, natural resource management, agriculture, environmental management and numerous development programmes. Doreen is a highly experienced and equipped with skills in Executive leadership and Institutional Governance. Doreen has extensive hands-on experience in incorporating women into public health activities, including successfully mainstreaming women and children in community-led Malaria control IRS programs in Uganda.

 

 

Professor Dr M Feroze Ahmed  

Prof. Dr M Feroze Ahmed is Vice-President of Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon (Bangladesh Environment Movement). He is an active member of the National Committee on Water Supply and Sanitation, the National Expert Committee on Arsenic and the World Health Organization's International Expert Committee as well as a board member of the NGO Forum for Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation. Feroze has also worked with the South Asian Conference on Sanitation (SACOSAN) in Dhaka.

 

 

Haydée Rodriguez

A professional lawyer, Haydée has worked in different fields related to sustainable development, capacity building and regulation analysis over the past nine years. Since 2003, she has worked with NGOs and government programs participating and directing teams in challenging circumstances. Haydée has also worked closely with FANCA and CEDARENA. 

 

 

Reverend Thomas Sayibu Imoro 

Thomas has worked in the non-governmental sector in agriculture, water, sanitation and hygiene and livelihoods since 1987. He co-founded two non-governmental organisations which are actively working in these sectors. Between 2002 – 2010 Thomas actively participated in the creation of the Coalition of NGOs in Water and Sanitation (CONIWAS) in Ghana and the Africa Network of Civil Society Organisations in Water and Sanitation (ANEW). Currently Thomas is CEO for NewEnergy, an NGO serving in the WASH and Energy Sectors in Ghana. Thomas is also actively involved in the Christian ministry where he serves as an Associate minister in a Baptist church and Chair the development council of the church.

 

 

Ronald D Sawyer  

Ronald is the director of Sarar Transformación SC, a multidisciplinary group based in Tepoztlán, Mexico, providing program development and communication support services to organizations primarily in Latin America, with a special emphasis on hygiene behavior and sustainable sanitation systems (ecosan).  Ronald is also a founding member of FAN-Mexico and a member of board of IWA – International Water Association Mexico. 

 

Danielle Morley

Recruited by WaterAid to establish FAN in late 2001, Danielle facilitated the growth the network from inception into the major global CSO network that it is today; overseeing the organisational development and funding of FAN Global as well as its capacity building and global advocacy activities with partners as the Executive Secretary. Danielle is a UK qualified solicitor and previously worked as a property and environmental lawyer. She also has an MSc from Imperial College in Environmental Technology (Global) and is a Trustee at the Environmental Law Foundation.
