ANEW's new five year strategic plan was formally approved at the ANEW General meeting at the beginnning of October 2009.
The strategic plan will equip ANEW to play an appropriate role in contributing towards the achievements of the MDG targets on water and sanitation with the aim of enhancing human development.
The plan will also provide ANEW with a roadmap for setting the direction and pace of the work of the network for the next five years and beyond in a coordinated and focused manner.
