Freshwater Action Network
– grassroots influencing on water and sanitation

Report from FAN’s participation at Bonn Climate Change Talks, June 2009

Freshwater Action Network was asked to nominate a representative to speak about the perspective of Southern civil society on Water and Climate Change Adaptation during the 13th session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-Term Cooperative Action (AWG LCA) at the Climate Change Talks in Bonn held from 1-12 June 2009. The Global Public Policy Network on Water Management (GPPN) http://gppn.stakeholderforum.org who were organizing the workshop and side event were particularly interested in the perspective from South Asia so FAN approached FANSA to nominate a representative to attend. FANSA nominated Ramisetty Murali, FANSA Convenor. Unfortunately, at the last minute, he had to cancel so I gave a presentation on their behalf.
