This handbook provides some useful tools, methods and case studies to support learning and strengthen CSOs skills in using communications to support their influencing agendas in relation to policies, programmes and practice. Please note this is a draft version (2010).

Advocacy and Policy Influencing - Training Manual for ANEW Members

ANEW developed an advocacy training plan which aims to strengthen the capacity of its members to conduct effective advocacy. The manual forms the basis of its advocacy training courses and has been designed as a practical tool to assist ANEW members and staff in rolling out advocacy courses.

Del 23 al 27 de abril se llevó a cabo un taller de capacitación en metodología participativa SARAR a personal del DIF Oaxaca con el objetivo de fortalecer el alcance de las Cocinas Comedor Nutricional Comunitarias. Los objetivos del taller se referían por un lado en iniciar la formación en los principios básicos de la Metodología Participativa SARAR, con énfasis en la aplicación de las técnicas en proyectos de agua saneamiento y salud y por otro lado comprender los principios básicos de la metodología SARAR/PHAST y adquirir conocimiento de instrumentos prototipo y experiencia en su manejo para abordar aspectos de diagnostico y planificación participativa mediante ejercicios prácticos, reflexión teórica e intercambio de experiencias.
