Urgent need for climate change impacts on water policy

The key messages from a recent UNFCCC technical workshop included an urgent call for policy considerations on climate change impacts on water resources and adaptation strategies.

Civil society messages for SWA partnership meeting

In November 2012, a small group of about 15 civil society representatives including ten members from ANEW and FANSA as well as a handful of northern country representatives will be representing the voice of civil society at a Sanitation and Water for All Partnership meeting.

Special Rapporteur country mission reports

In September 2012, Catarina de Albuquerque, Special Rapporteur on the human right to safe drinking water and sanitation, presented 3 country mission reports (to Namibia, Senegal and Uruguay) at the Human Rights Council. She also presented her annual thematic report on Stigma and the realisation of the human rights to water and sanitation. Find out more.

New campaign 'Keep your promises' launch and toolkit

Keep your promises

FANSA, ANEW, FANAS, FANCA and FAN-Mex - together as FAN Global - have developed an international campaign called Keep Your Promises in partnership with End Water Poverty, WSSCC, WASH Advocates, WaterAid and Simavi calling on decision makers to stick to the pledges they have made on sanitation and water.
